Strength or resistance training is designed to improve strength and endurance. You can achieve this by either just using your bodyweight or by adding load with dumbbells, kettlebells or resistance bands…all good bits of kit to have for your home workouts.

Aside from the aesthetic benefits and gaining muscle, with strength training you will decrease the risk of injury and also improve bone health.
